Installation Considerations
This range hood may be installed with vertical ducting, horizontal rear ducting, or configured for non-ducted recirculation using optional charcoal filters.
For the best ventilation performance, exterior ducting should be kept as short and straight as possible with minimal elbows and transitions.
The hood is designed for hardwired electrical installation. An optional power cord may be used where permitted by the manufacturer and local electrical codes.
Maintain at least 18 inches above an electric cooking surface and 26 inches above a gas cooking surface. Always follow the complete manufacturer installation instructions and applicable Hawaii building requirements.
